The story revolves around a group of people stranded in the ocean after a luxury yacht explodes. Ten survivors—among them wealthy guests, crew members, and others—are left adrift in a lifeboat, desperate for rescue and struggling with dwindling hope, food, and sanity.
On the third day, a mysterious man appears in the water and is pulled aboard. He claims to be God. When questioned, he simply says:
“I am the Lord.”
Skeptical and desperate, the passengers begin to challenge this claim. The stranger makes no overt demonstrations of divine power, but his presence starts to affect them deeply. As the days pass, secrets are revealed, characters are tested, and faith is both questioned and explored.
The novel unfolds through journal entries written by Benji, one of the survivors and a former employee on the yacht. His personal reflections and accounts of the group’s experiences shape the narrative, interwoven with a parallel investigation on land.
