Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (Book 2: The Lunar Chronicles)

The story follows Scarlet Benoit, a strong-willed young woman from France whose grandmother has mysteriously disappeared. Determined to find her, Scarlet crosses paths with Wolf, a street fighter with a dangerous past and unique abilities.

Meanwhile, the cyborg mechanic Cinder (from the first book) continues her fight against the oppressive Lunar Queen Levana, while all their paths begin to converge. The series blends elements of “Little Red Riding Hood”, cyberpunk, and space opera.
